Reporting directly to PAVE Red Hook’s Executive Director, the Director of HR & Talent will oversee the administration of the school’s Human Resources functions, as well as its efforts to recruit and retain top talent. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated a deep understanding of HR administration, success in recruiting talent in the education sector, the ability to manage several critical work streams concurrently, and are aligned with PAVE’s core values and educational philosophy. The Director of HR and Talent will be a thoughtful and energetic leader responsible for building and maintaining the personnel-facing infrastructure that will facilitate PAVE’s consistent achievement of its mission, academic outcome goals, and desired continuity.   PAVE RH is currently transitioning from a shared services support structure to a stand-alone site. In School Year 2020-21, the school will absorb functions previously owned by the Charter Management Organization. In this new structure, the Director of HR and Talent will lead day-to-day functions at PAVE RH, including benefits and compensation administration, risk management and compliance, recruitment strategy, and process management. School Year 2020-21 is intended to be a transitional year during which the Director of HR and Talent will work with the Executive Director and consultants to take on growing responsibilities while ensuring integrity and efficiencies of single-site-focused systems and processes.

PAVE Red Hook seeks a Special Education Certified teacher to be an Elementary School Intervention Specialist for the 2020-2021 School Year. This person will work with PAVE staff to ensure that all student learning needs are met, and that students are moving towards proficiency. The Intervention Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all Special Education students make significant academic gains through both in-class and out-of-class support. With his/her team, the Intervention Specialist will help manage administrative/regulatory aspects of the Special Education Program and serve as a small group academic teacher as well as a whole-class co-teacher in our inclusive classroom settings. The Intervention Specialist will report to the Dean of Student Support Services and the Principal.

PAVE Red Hook seeks elementary teachers for Kindergarten through 4th grade for the 2020-2021 school year. Teachers will instruct ELA, math, social studies, science, and character development. In addition, all PAVE teachers will implement PAVE’s curriculum and assessment programs. All elementary teachers will work in a co-teaching environment on a dynamic grade team where all educators share an equal load of responsibility and accountability. PAVE Red Hook seeks an Associate Dean of Students (ADOS) responsible for ensuring that high behavioral expectations are consistently communicated and maintained throughout the school. The ADOS will work with the Instructional Leadership Team, teachers, parents, students, and outside instructional consultants. Reporting directly to the Principal, the ADOS will establish a strong achievement centered culture; ensure the functionality of school-wide systems that support student achievement, safety, efficiency and PAVE’s four core values; and ensure that the high expectations we have for our scholars are maintained in each classroom and by all teachers at PAVE. PAVE Red Hook seeks a Middle School Dean of Student Support Services (DSSS) to be an integral part of the instructional leadership team. PAVE seeks an educator who is committed to education reform, believes that all scholars can and will achieve at high levels with joyful, rigorous instruction, and who can commit to a consistent school-wide culture that cultivates growth within our scholars. PAVE students’ success depends on the knowledge, skills, and mindsets of PAVE’s teachers and school leaders. The DSSS will ensure that all PAVE scholars have a great education, and are able to meet targeted goals through the support of the Learning Support Team, and all teachers at PAVE. Through coordinating, co-teaching, and supporting scholars with high needs, the PAVE DSSS will work with the school team to ensure we are building an integrated school environment that leads all kids to becoming citizens and scholars that have the skills and preparedness they need to meet PAVE’s mission acceptance to and graduation from top-tier high schools and colleges. The Office Coordinator must balance the challenges of managing high visitor traffic, collecting and sharing critical data and ongoing projects simultaneously, and always sustaining focus on PAVE’s consistent achievement of its mission, academic outcomes, and administrative objectives.   PAVE RH is currently transitioning from a shared services support structure to a stand-alone site. In School Year 2020-21, the school will absorb functions previously owned by the Charter Management Organization. In this new structure, the K-8 Director of Operations will work with the operations team to establish and calibrate localized operations functions at PAVE RH, ensuring operational efficiency and ensuring that systems and processes function in service of strengthened school health and increased scholar outcomes.
